Starting to Promote the Business Offline

Together with working on SEO on the website, I also did some offline marketing to get more traffic to the website.

What offline marketing did I do? I had postcards and flyers printed from Vistaprint and I distributed these to independent shops, such as gift shops, toy shops, etc. I put the flyers on noticeboards, shop windows and the library.

I also sent emails out to friends with details of my new company, Bambino Boo, asking them to visit it and comment and giving them a discount code. I asked them to send the email out to their friends to help spread the word.

Marketing is a constant process and websites need to be heavily marketed and promoted for sites to be visited as there are so many websites out there. I realised that I would need to dedicate a small part of my day each day to promoting Bambino Boo.
